About Our Product ORDER!
 |
Humus is regarded as the most important fraction of any topsoil, the higher the humus content the healthier and more productive the soil will be. Worm castings are regarded as the highest quality humus known. They are high in organic matter and naturally higher in nutrient content than traditional compost. The increased organic matter content allows for better water holding capacity and water infiltration of soils. The nutrients are slow release, which is better suited for plant uptake and prevents pollution and unnecessary loss and wasting of nutrients. |
|
Worm castings also provide trace minerals
essential for healthy PLANT
GROWTH that most fertilizers do not. In addition, worm castings also
increase the biological activity of the soil because they are rich in
beneficial soil bacteria and fungi, which assist plant roots with
nutrient uptake. Because worm castings are small in particle size they
are easy to incorporate into existing topsoil, greenhouse planting
mixes, and potting soil mixes. Everyone knows that earthworms are a sign
of a healthy topsoil, but its not really the worms its what they leave
behind that is so valuable. Best of all it is 100% ALL NATURAL. Our worm
castings are made from only cow manure, ground corn, and brewery
mash. |
A simple growth test was performed using young tomato plants grown in
Earthworm Castings, Georgia red soil, and Potting Mix. See the RESULTS.
